Community Meal Program

Meal Open to any one in the Community at 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle, PA:

Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Saturday and Holidays 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Family Care Food Bank

Located at 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle, PA:

Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Applicants must call to arrange an appointment.  Identification and proof of income for everyone in the household should be brought to the appointment.

Inter-Church Food Bank

Monday and Thursday 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

This service is provided to any area church that has a member of their congregation that has a need for food.  Applicants must bring a referral form from their Pastor.  The Pastor is responsible for evaluating the applicant's need.  Applicants must call ahead to make an appointment.

Pastors may contact the Family Care Ministry to obtain a referral form.

Shelter

Men
Men with Children

True Life Men's Ministry located at 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle, PA.  Open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Crossroads Program: Provides temporary emergency shelter (1 to 90 days).  This program provides men with food, shelter, spiritual counsel, casework, and networking.

True Life Recovery Program: Admittance to program is after successful evaluation in Crossroads Program.  An 11 month structured, residential program for men with addictions or other life issues.  This program focuses on biblical discipleship and ministers for life change through Bible-based recovery.

Covenant Cottage: Provides temporary emergency shelter (1 to 90 days) to homeless men with children.

Women and Familes

Covenant House ministry located at 1018 Rebecca Street, New Castle, PA:

Temporary emergency shelter (1-30 days) for women, women with children, married couples, and married couples with children.  Those in need of shelter or referring agencies should contact the Covenant House staff prior to client arrival.

Youth

Youth Program at Sankey  Center

After school and summer programming for children ages 6 through 18.  After school activities include tutoring, homework help, bible study, and recreation.  Summer programming is recreation oriented.

After School Program:
Monday through Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Summer Program:
Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
