Thanksgiving Food Baskets for residents of Lawrence, Butler and Mercer counties will be distributed from the Mission's Sankey Center located at 125 Grant Street, New Castle. Please help us to Feed the Hungry this Thanksgiving by participating in our largest outreach of the year.
Can you or your group help us by collecting food?
Please collect the items listed below, or better yet, "adopt an item" by agreeing to collect a specific number of a particular item or buy one or more "birds" at $15 each. Reference "birds" on the memo line of your check and make it payable and send to: City Rescue Mission - PO Box 965, New Castle, PA 16103-0965 or donate online below.

WHERE TO TAKE YOUR FOOD DONATIONS: Drop your items now through November 18, 2009 (9 am to 11:30 pm and 12:30 to 3:30 M-F) at the Family Care Ministry of the City Rescue Mission, 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle, PA. November 19, 20, and 21 (9 am to 3:30 pm, till 11 am Nov 21) deliver food to the Sankey Center, 125 Grant Street, New Castle. Do you need, or do you know someone who needs food assistance this Thanksgiving?
Below are the dates and times that those in need may come to the Family Care Ministry of the City Rescue Mission to register to receive a Thanksgiving Food Basket. The City Rescue Mission is located at 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle, PA. Visit our DIRECTIONS PAGE for driving directions.

Applicants must bring Identification AND proof of income for everyone in the household. Examples of identification would be a Driver's License, Social Security card, or Access or Gateway card, etc. Examples of proof of income would be pay stubs, veteran's pension, SSI, Social Security, Unemployment letter, income verification from case worker (County Assistance Office).
